As one of the first women to work on a Forest Service fire crew,
Linda was harassed and discriminated. The more her male colleagues
discouraged her, the more determined she became. Linda shares these
nuggets of life wisdom:
- you can do anything when you test yourself
- never give up
- ignore those that discourage you
- you don't need the approval of others
- you can turn things around to fit you
- take baby steps
